Gotta make room for the smart shit

Fun fact as you go through college all the people majoring in any kind of math or engineering gradually forget how to do basic fucking arithmetic because their brain is full of the parts of math that you can’t do on a calculator in less than a second. Eventually if they’re cut off from their tech they pretty much have to ask an art major how long division works.

That’s actually something that psychology has confirmed before. The brain retains things better when they can’t be easily looked up.

So a thought occurred to me. How has your actual roommate from college not seen FMAB until now lol it’s like you didn’t even try

she didn’t watch anime back then! like the only anime we ever bonded over was Lovely Complex bc I’m p sure it was the only one she’d seen. plus the first time i watched Brotherhood I watched alone the week before i went to school frehsman year. then while i was IN school that year i made amanda watch it with me. All B ever talked about was Glee. those were different times, hax

poking yourself in the eye? a cunning symbol of sexual intercourse

exactly!!

Might I add:

Yonic the Hedgehog

you might not have, and yet you did, entirely cognizant,

I was in 1st/2nd grade grade when the big Pokémon boom of the late 90s-early 00s happened. It was HUGE. Every kid was into it and we’d watch the show and play pretend and collect the cards and bring our game boys to school to trade Pokémon during recess. I was lucky to have supportive parents, but I remember how teachers and other adults would scoff and say how tired they were of Pokémon, how annoying and juvenile it was and how they couldn’t wait for us to “get over it already”. I might have been young, but I still remember how much these kinds of comments bummed me out. Why in the world are we being mean to little kids who like Fortnite
