Headcanon that the first time Harry heard someone tell him they love him was by Ron and it was very casual, too, like “Ron, that was stupid” “Yea, I love you too, Harry.” And Harry probably dropped everything he was holding, because oh my God, for the first time in eleven years someone said that they care about him. And Harry is in a great mood for the next week or so, and Ron has no idea why, he has grown up surrounded by easy affection and doesn’t realize the impact of his words.
