Y’know, I watched some old episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender the other night, and I got thinkin’.

Does anyone else feel like Zhao might’ve gotten so invested in capturing the Avatar and then out of nowhere obsessed with killing the moon just because he realized early in the series he had to do something drastic or nobody would ever let him live down the time he accepted a duel with a disgraced and probably half-blind teenager and lost?
