Weed advocates can be so annoying. Like, I know it can help people and they should have legal access to it.

But they act like it cures every single thing in the world and there is no possible way someone could be allergic or have negative reactions to any of the chemical compounds within in.

They reject any experiences with it that are not positive. Like, why can’t you believe that it is helpful for many while also believing it’s not a cure-all for everyone?

Weed doesn’t have to be magical in order to be useful and you don’t do anyone any favours pretending it’s a panacea, a universal cure and a miracle food and denying it’s limitations.

Ok, that’s really dangerous. My dad has had heart attacks and he recently tried some weed for his arthritis but it gave him serious tachycardia and he was genuinely worried that it would trigger an attack.

when I got exposure to weed via an aunt smoking near me as a young child, I got extreme tachycardia and low blood pressure, nausea, light headedness, disorientation and then vomited and passed out in my room. I still get tachycardic just from the smoke present in someone’s clothes if they smoked it recently enough.

I’m also aware that it has many many potential beneficial uses and I voted to make it legal in my state.

I’ve been fortunate that most people I’ve told this to have reacted with understanding. But I’ve had a couple insist that it wasn’t the weed somehow.

sorry, but that’s a pretty damned distinct smell. And sorry, not sorry, but it isn’t free of potential negative side effects.
