i don’t see much said about the soul eater not manga anymore (especially bc the anime wasn’t super well received from what i remember) but it’s actually really cute and the style is beautiful

dude i know the BIGGEST anime trope is Winning the Fight with the Power of Friendship ™ but hot damn if the scene where Maka reaches out to Crona doesn’t make me sob like a baby every time.
where a girl who had already been thoroughly stomped by this kid once before and should have every reason to hate them gets on their level and REACHES OUT A HAND TO THEM!! literally tells Crona “it’s not that you can’t deal with people, it’s that no one ever took the time to deal with you”!! maka sees through all the abuse Crona has faced and wants to become their friend so they don’t have to feel that loneliness and fear anymore!!! shit!!!
try and tell me that isn’t the best ending to any anime fight. just TRY
