i just read a comment on a youtube video that said “unpopular opinion but i don’t really like todd’ and actually yes that is a fucking unpopular opinion because todd bloody hewitt is the realest male protagonist i have ever read and his thoughts and emotions are so raw that they just make you appreciate him that little bit more than any other book character ever.
i will stand by todd hewitt until i reach my grave. and even then you’ll hear my ghost yelling to protect him.

-lee as more than violas side hoe!!!! lee is an interesting character on his own and nobody really acknowledges it

-when todd says “it was easier when u weren’t here” like How gotdamn heartbreaking???? he shut everything off but he has to feel again when he sees viola but it hurts too much ow ow ow

-in monsters of men when todd just says “im tired” and it’s such an understatement for all that’s happened but it’s all he has to say for viola to know everything he’s feeling
