I’m still waiting for an explanation as to why Bakugou Katsuki wears that weird toilet seat thingy on his shoulders.
I KNOW I KNOW! So, what Bakugou wears is something called a cowboy collar. Back when football was somewhat more violent, whiplash was a thing that one could get from sudden tackles.
A cowboy collar supports the back of the neck, and prevents it from snapping back too far. Given that much of Bakugou’s fighting style involves him literally launching himself at his opponents, it would make sense for him to protect his neck from injury. The design of it does look somewhat dumb because of the sharp edges, but that’s what I’m 98% sure it’s supposed to be.
