had a friend work at an amazon warehouse, said they weren’t allowed to talk the entire time they were working. so he just worked around for like 12 hours every day in complete silence alone.
immediately he started getting depressed, like you can’t work in those conditions every day and not have it fuck with your mental health.
it’s not human.
Ok so I just finished a job building one of these fuckers.
People are gonna die in that building. There are literally no chairs, they have cameras and AI specifically for keeping you on task, the whole place is grey concrete, and the open floor plan makes it EXTREMELY easy to hurl yourself off the fourth floor.
Amazon is NOT investing in their employees one bit as they plan on having the whole place automated in a few years. Humans are only there to teach the robots that will replace them.
Oh, but there’s a pacman machine in the break room!
