i love leorio bc hes the only one in this show that has clear and consistent morals that he upholds as well as he can

• kurapika: has strong morals but is willing to sacrifice them and become whatever monster he needs to be to rid the world of the phantom troupe. drops his friends and loved ones to work as a mob boss. still love him tho
• gon: cares about consistency and the relationship between him and whoever more so than objective morals. will let a serial killer go (greed island) bc he helped him train and thats nice. is fine w the phantom troupe being bad ppl until he learns they care abt ppl. trieed to kill someone. i still love him tho
• killua: assassin and morals are that hes a good friend to gon
• ging: cares about adventuring and keeping his word and not about raising a kid
• pariston: bitch
• hisoka: (hisoka) 

but then theres

• leorio: cares about his friends wellbeing and making sure theyre safe. cares about not doing unnecessary and uncalled for harm for no reason. doesnt like being asked to compromise his morals and will hit and old bitch if she asks him too. suffered trauma from poverty and wants to open a fucking free clinic to make sure no kids dies from preventable illness again. is just a doctor whos a good guy and swole as fuck and wants his kids and boyfriend to be safe
