I couldn’t figure out how to write a YouTube AU in a way that wasn’t choppy as hell and still felt like a YouTube video so uh, take this:

•Ling has a YouTube show called Ling Does a Thing where he just does random things

•Lan Fan is the editor

•Ling brings Ed on for a baking episode

•The twist is that they have to wear one of those two people Christmas sweaters and only have one hand each at their disposal

•So they make Christmas cookies to go with the sweater even though it’s like August or something

•Ed announces the challenge and then violently chucks his prosthetic off camera while Ling looks on in horror. That wasn’t in the script.

•"Get on my level Ling.“

“I’d rather not.”

•For extra fun, they’re using the Easy Bake Oven Winry found in her attic to make the sugar cookies

•It’s a disaster, there’s dough and flower all over the counter and their fingers

•Ling nearly falls after Ed tries to walk one way without warning.

•Ling adds to much water after disregarding Ed’s insistence that baking is a chemistry and you can’t just eyeball it

•Ed tries to crack and egg too hard and just breaks it

•Ling sprays Pam in his mouth because he’s always wondered what it tasted like

•They forget to spray Pam on the cookie cutters and argue whether you cut the shape before or after baking

•When they try to decorate, Ed notices half the decorations are missing and Ling says he got hungry before filming

•The cookies are absolutely horrible
