In 1985 this black bear (nicknamed “Pablo Eskobear”) stumbled upon a bag filled with 40kg of cocaine that had been tossed from an airplane. Needless to say, this bear died from the overdose but for a very brief window it was likely the most terrifying apex predator in the Americas.
