we’re coming up on the sixth anniversary of lok s1ep12 “endgame” and once again i am livid for a million reasons but i want to go ahead and go over again that if your solution to writing in systemic disenfranchisement to your secondary world is to make the incredibly charismatic leader of the movement a member of the oppressive class living an alternate life, whitewash him, and then have him and his brother commit murder/suicide all in the name of being approved for putting a second season on the air rather than telling an effective narrative and then never talk about that plotline ever again and have the rest of the series deal with it by making thousands of people suddenly develop magic superpowers and gain access to an ethnicity that they are not a part of and devaluing their life as disenfranchised second class citizens your tv show is bad and you should feel bad
