The plan is to alternate “present continuity” books, like Every Heart a Doorway and Beneath the Sugar Sky, with “past continuity” books, like Down Among the Sticks and Bones and In An Absent Dream (2019).
I can’t tell you whether you’ll see any specific character’s original journey, because whether these books continue depends on book sales. I want to do everyone. I can currently promise no one.
So can you tell us if we will see a Wayward Children book about Christopher’s journey? You’ve said in the past that you’re waiting on the right moment to do a story for Kade (unless I remember that wrong as well) but I’m wondering just how much we will bounce back between the ‘present day’ at the school (Every Heart a Doorway and Beneath A Sugar Sky) and exploration of past events like Down Among the Sticks and Bones.
